The website task
The task is to create the promo website and a mini shop for the rose brand “Polli” from scratch. The company is one of the leaders in online ordering and delivery of exquisite roses for the premium segment in Latvia. The task was to combine a presentation of the unique roses in limited quantities for a specific niche of users, focusing on the special delivery by couriers in a suits, with integration and linking of the structure with ecommerce system for online sales throughout Latvia.
More than 7 pages were designed with the presentation of the service and product choosing, with the adding of payment systems and additional e-commerce functions. At the briefing stage, was analyzed the products and especially the roses online orders market in Latvia, following which great attention was focused to the convenience of the mobile version of the site, as 70% of users in Latvia are the active users of the mobile banking and interact with online services through mobile devices. So the structure was implemented on an responsive grid system to ensure correct experience with the mobile versions.
Mobile version & UI elements
In design concept were used light, not saturated colors and fonts, the blue was used as active “call to action” color. Also for this project was attracted our illustrator who drew raster illustrations in watercolor style for certain blocks at the suggestion of the client. The functional parts interface of the woocommerce system also has been completely redesigned for the structure and guideline of our site. So it was possible to achieve the most convenient navigation and adaptation of the website for the Latvian market, as a result, the brand “Polli” to this day keeps a leading position in the flower niche for online ordering and delivery of roses in Latvia.
